Well that sucked. I was out right at the 30 minute mark. I played well though, I don't think I did anything wrong with the two hands that ultimately put me out. I had trip 10's and the person I went up against had a straight, both on the flop. So I lost half my chips on that hand. Then I had to make a move, blinds were 50 and 100 and I only had 500 left. I had a A5, 66A flopped so I went all in. One person called, they had A7. So they already had me beat then to put the nail in the coffin they got a 7 on the river. Oh well, I wouldn't have played either hand differently. The only one I should have played differently was the hand just before the A5. I had pocket Ks and I went all in before the flop. No one called so I won the blinds. I mean, that helped with the next hand, gave me money for the next blinds but I should've only called so someone else might have too. But with the luck I was having two As would've flopped and someone would've had one.
Oh well, on to the next round as soon as they're up.
In better news. I did much of nothing this weekend. Every weekend this month there was something going on so I decided this one I'd do nothing. I rewatched some of my favorite movies again: Braveheart, The Others and Gladiator. I read and took a nap. Very nice and relaxing weekend.
This is what I would've liked to have done with the game -

2nd place again
Oh well, came in 2nd place on Friday. We have a yearly tournament going. We play once a month and then one large game at the end of the year. Our year goes from February to February by the way. Last year we played a total of 14 games, out of those 14 I came in 2nd 9 times. This year we've played a total of 5 games and I've come in 2nd twice already. I get so close then it goes to shit. This time the guy sucked out on me, didn't win until the river.
At least I have this Sunday to look forward to. I'm not expecting to win let alone even get to the final table but I do have my hopes up. I'm a good player and the other website I've played on I've gotten to the final table many many times so it's not inconceivable.
Wish me luck

Texas Hold 'Em
I've been in love with playing and watching No Limit Texas Hold 'Em ever since I saw the first Celebrity Poker Show Down on Bravo. I've played it for free and for money, on line and at home. Whether I win or lose I have a good time. But now I'm extremely excited, I just won last night a qualifying tournament on Bravo's websight. On July 30th I'll be in the final tournament and the winner of that round gets a silent walk on role for the tv show Las Vegas. Hmmm, maybe I should start watching the show. I'll also be playing this Friday at a friends house. I'm hoping my luck keeps on running.
