TMNT

You know, when you're an adult going into a "kids" movie without any kids it's usually ok, depending on the movie of course. Take Disney movies, or Harry Potter movies, for example. These are made for adults too, you can go in without kids and feel perfectly normal.

Last night H Ditty and I went to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with his dad. No kids, just 3 adults. His nephew was supposed to go but he's grounded for a month (poor thing, he's only 5)so by the time he's out of juvie (is that spelled correctly?) the movie will no longer be in a good theater. So it was just us 3, I felt a little odd.

Turns out it wasn't half bad though. It was completely silly but for a PG kids movie it wasn't bad. I only watched a cartoon or two when it was on, my nephew who was around 5 when they were huge, would watch them when he was over but I hardly ever paid attention. I just remember pizza being mentioned a lot more. It hardly ever came up.

Anyway, that's been my excitement for the these last few days.

We're doing fine now for those of you who are wondering. We're sad without The BP, but we're doing fine. I put another photo up of him. Our friends in Canada sent HD an Email with a picture they took of him by our coffee table a few years back.

Media quote of the day:
Piece of pie. - Donatello
Mmm, piece of pizza pie! - Michaelangelo

This was not from the movie but from one of the cartoons.

I was all about the heroes in a half-shell. Tony things the ones in the new movie look like gummy candy and wants to bite their heads.

That's funny, I didn't notice that but he's right they do sort of look like that.
