Too damn funny

So yesterday I commented on how some people get to my site. That most of them get here by the media quotes I use. Today 3 people got here by the title I used a few entries back - the quote from Bridge to Terabithia.

The 1st from Bismark, North Dakota @ 12:15
The 2nd from Worcester, Massachusetts @ 2:58
The 3rd from Easton, Pennsylvania @ 6:34

I mean one a day sure but to have all three in the same day within hours of each other amuses me to no end.

You know what I miss? I miss football. I miss Saints football. And I heard sad news yesterday. Jiggedy Joe Horn may be leaving the team. He may not, but it sounds like he will. I'm very saddened by this. I love me some Joe Horn.

So guess what HD did yesterday. Go on guess, I'll wait. Did ya guess? You're wrong. Heee

Aaannnyyyway, he's taking a Conversational Spanish class to help with his job. Yesterday for class he had to do a presentation about his dream home. Oh yeah, we've sort of talked about it over the years but never in terms of it actually coming true and haven't said anything about it in a really long time. Long enough for me to forget what we have and haven't talked about. But we are so in tune we're in total agreement of what we want. He stayed up later than me on Tuesday night finishing his homework for said presentation. When he came to bed he woke me up and asked me what my/our dream house is. I said a house in the woods on a lake. Then said a log cabin/house. With huge windows facing the lake. With two fireplaces, one in the bedroom and one in between the kitchen and living room that you can see from both rooms of course. With exposed beams and wood everywhere. He said he didn't get that elaborate but said the same thing as me. Log cabin in the woods on a lake. So last night when he got home from work he showed me his presentation. It of course was all in Spanish so he had to read it to me. It went on to describe the cabin, woods and lake. Mentioned it also being in the mountains, which I said was a given that's why I didn't say that last night, he knew. Then it went on to describe the things in the cabin such as tables, rugs, bed, closets, bathrooms, things in the kitchen, etc. etc. Basically words and phrases he's learned. At the very end there's a picture of me and it says above it that the most important thing in the house is his wife, Katrina, that nothing else matters if I'm not there with him. Isn't that just the sweetest? He also used a picture that's acceptable to me, which I said when I saw it. He says, "I know what I can use, don't worry." Love him.

And he just now called to make sure I got home ok. He has to work until 10 and the weather isn't the nicest out there. Love him bunches.

Hope I didn't make ya'll gag too much.

Media quote of the day:

Thank You - Led Zeppelin

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.

Little drops of rain whisper on the pane, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.
My love is strong, with you there is no wrong, together we shall go until we die.
My, my, my.
An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see.

And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,
Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.
Happiness, no more is sad, happiness....I'm glad.

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Holy crap! That song has so much significance for me, you'd never believe! (It was "our" song - me and the guy in "the story". It's there somewhere, I think you commented on it once.

Katie! Nice to see you again. I love that song, I think it's the best love song ever.

That sounds familiar, I just may have commented on it.

tkkerouac - Thank you.
