I'll never forget that day, nor those who died. My wife had just started working in Manhattan, just north of the towers. I was worried sick for her, and couldn't get her on the phone. The lines were overloaded.What a day.
I can't even imagine how I'd be if I couldn't reach Howie in a situation like that. I'm happy that it all worked out for you two.
